Recovery systems for work at height

According to Legislative Decree 81/2008, when work requires the use of PPE (Personal Fall Protection Equipment), an appropriate emergency rescue plan must be in place for casualties. This means that people who have been caught by personal protective equipment against falling must be freed from their predicament as quickly as possible in order to avoid hanging trauma.

The rescue is carried out using a rescue set and, depending on the circumstances, consists of bringing the casualty back to the starting position (work surface) or to the ground. A rescue set usually contains enough material for one person to rope up or down. See application examples.
