Access and work on the rope

Access and rope work are proven methods to quickly and effectively carry out work in hard-to-reach places, at height or depth.

Rope work can always be carried out when no access or work possibility can be created with conventional collective protective measures, e.g. scaffolding, railings or lifting platforms.

Due to the fact that work on the rope takes place at a corresponding height, the rescue methods must be adapted to the circumstances.

  • The injured person must be able to be abseiled up or down.
  • Large descent heights
  • Weather conditions must be taken into account.
  • The time required for the rescue is to be kept to a minimum.
